Our History
Ben and Cynthia Bailie started Trinity Church in 2017. Cynthia is a Florida girl who grew up in Winter Park. She graduated from UCF with a degree in elementary education and loves all things teaching, singing, and running. Ben is a Southern boy from Atlanta who loves teaching, reading, and golfing. Ben moved to Florida in 2004 to attend seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando. During that time, he swept Cynthia off her feet—as he tells the story. They were married in February 2007 before moving to Louisville where Ben pursued his PhD at Southern Seminary. After pastoring churches in Kentucky and Alabama, they are excited to be back in sunny Central Florida, with their four children, for a new season of life and ministry here in Lake Nona.

Our Context
Lake Nona is a unique place. It is an ambitious, master-planned community that seeks to be the home of world-class medical education, state-of-the-art biotech research, and professional athletic training centers. It is a community dedicated to sustainable design and healthy living, with ambitious aspirations and an exciting future. Trinity Church of Lake Nona exists to help turn those horizontal aspirations vertical.
